So this week I went to the Everyman Palace to watch a production of The Importance of being Earnest. I have only been to the Cork Opera House so I wasn’t sure what to expect of this play house. The Everyman Palace is a bit further away from my apartment but the extra 5 minutes were really wort it. The theater was beautiful and the decor inside the room was stunning. I had seats in the ground floor (as opposed to the balcony like I did for the Panto) but I had a wonderful view.
The play itself was grand. My favorite character was that of Aunt Augusta although everyone played their parts very well. The costumes were beautiful too and it was just amazing treat to watch.
I love Oscar Wilde so it was a real treat to see a production of his play here in Ireland. I mean watching Oscar Wilde in Cork, Ireland? It doesn’t get much better than this!

Sounds like too much fun!
I didn’t know you were going Wilde in Ireland!
